BARBARA AMPONSAH

THE NAVIGATOR

Barbara (A.K.A Babz) brings a wide range of experience and qualities as Road to Possible's Navigator. As a music blogger and a Humber theatre school graduate, years of training has taught her empathy with content and with the audience when creating work that is relevant to one's personal journey, while personal experience has taught her how to be honest and raw in that telling. Barbara's excited to be surrounded by other people creating their own paths to success. As Road to Possible's Navigator, Babz hopes to  engage, connect, and empathize with the people profiled, as well as navigate the audience through each person's unique, and compelling personal journey.

LESLEY APELBAUM

CO-CREATOR, CO-PRODUCER & CO-WRITER

Lesley Apelbaum is an actor, producer, writer and director. Lesley has trained at the Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia and received her BFA Honors Degree in Acting from University of Windsor in 2011. Shortly after graduating, Lesley created and produced Post-Horizons Theatre Festival that showcased original plays written and performed by post-secondary students from across Canada. In 2011-2012, Lesley served as Artistic Producer and Administrator for the Spur-Of-The-Moment Shakespeare Collective (SOTMSC) and their Shakespeare’s Briefs program that brought performances to hospitals throughout Ontario. Lesley is thrilled to be working with such a wonderfully talented, experienced and committed production team.



JUSTIN HEELEY

CONTINUITY, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR & RESEARCHER

Justin was trained at an early age as an actor at Young People's Theatre and Second City. He was successful, but decided to retire from acting and focus on writing and production. He has completed his IATSE 873 Master Continuity  Course. He is an excellent writer and researcher, an excellent addition to the team.

LOUAY KANAFANI

EDITOR

Louay Kanafani is a television broadcasting graduate of Fanshawe college in London, Ontario. He has over 15 years experience in the television industry. He has worked as an editor on television shows such as Speaker Corner, The New Downtown for Chum Television and Latin Vibes for Omni television.  He also edited various educational videos including Made with the Trades, a 21-episode series that was distributed to the Toronto board of education, Pharma Plus management videos just to name a few. Not only is Louay Kanafani an editor but he is also a talented videographer and television broadcasting instructor. He trained 20 high risk youth to produce a 30-minute health awareness video on active lifestyle for Goodlife Gyms. Louay is a well-rounded individual and a great member of the team.



JONATHAN SCOTT

VFX ARTIST

Originally from California, I moved to Toronto over 10 years ago. I have a background in IT and digital animation. I have degrees for IT / Computer Science from San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, California and mostly recently digital animation from Centennial College here in Toronto, Ontario. I'm also a veteran of the US Navy, I was a Gas Turbine Systems engineer aboard the USS MOBILE BAY CG-53. I recently dove into the film and TV industry, I've worked on several movies in the last 3 years as a post-production visual effects artist. I'm a single parent, I co-parent 3 kids with 2 ex-wives. Just trying to survive this crazy world.

DOYINSOLA WALE-BANMORE

SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR & CINEMATOGRAPHER

Doyinsola holds a post-graduate degree in film production from Sheridan College. She is a self-taught photographer that launched her own photography company, Bambii Photography, in 2013 as the first year in college. She has experience in brand management and content creation. Doyinsola’s combination of passion and enthusiasm for expression through film and photography motivates her towards producing quality projects. She is looking to expand her network and gain more experience in film production.



EDWARD HEELEY

CO-CREATOR, SUPERVISING PRODUCER, DIRECTOR & WRITER

Edward Heeley is having fun working with such a youthful and hip production team on the Road to Possible series. He has been a very successful Producer, Director, Writer and Actor. Many of his productions have been multi-language and all have been multi-platform. Youth and social issues have been a primary focus of production in recent years leading to an expertise unparalleled in these areas.
